The project looked to deliver improvements to the existing library and surrounding facilities. We were brought on board to undertake investigations and establish the existing structural arrangements of the Grade II listed school aroudn the areas of work. We provided an initial option study looking at the structural impacts of various schemes, and allow a measured approach that worked with the listed building as much as possible.

We delivered a detail design proposal, taking the project through to construction, and assisting the Contractor with temporary works designs to ensure the support of the retained structure.

All this was undertaken in over a short time frame to avoid disruption to the schools operation.
